4 years agoToronto Blue Jays first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. had another strong night at the plate during Saturday's 15-1 victory over the Los Angeles Angels. The 22-year-old hitter went 2-for-4 with two walks. He also stole a base. He's now hitting .379 with a BB-K of 8-6 through nine games. Guerrero Jr. has at least one hit in eight of his nine games and has multi-hit games in three of his last four contests. He moved up to the third hole in the lineup on Saturday after previously hitting down further in the fifth spot. Last season, Guerrero Jr. hit just .262 with nine home runs in 60 games. This could be the breakout year that everyone has been waiting for from the former top prospect.--Marc Hulet - RotoBaller
