4 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Clarke Schmidt (elbow) still isn't throwing, and the 25-year-old is now seeking a second medical opinion on his elbow injury. Schmidt was shut down from throwing in late February with what was described at the time to be an injury similar to tennis elbow, and it's discouraging to hear that he still hasn't made any progress. Fantasy managers shouldn't expect Schmidt to be fantasy-relevant this season in redraft leagues, and his value in dynasty leagues is dented as well.--Sam Chinitz
