4 years agoVegas Golden Knights right wing Reilly Smith has taken a huge step back this season but is finally showing some signs of life and could explode next week. The Knights look set for a dominant week, facing two of the West Division bottom-feeders in the Kings and the Ducks in four games. The two have combined for just one win more (28) than Vegas. Smith has only 15 points for the year but produced a two-goal performance this week and still skates with Jonathan Marchessault and William Karlsson. The line has been hugely successful during Vegas' four years in the league and is closing in on 600 total points. Only six trios have ever reached 600 points in their first four years with a franchise. There are a few interesting pieces on other Golden Knights lines as well to consider, such as Alex Tuch, who always finds ways to be productive despite skating on the third line, first-line center Chandler Stephenson, who returned from a suspension on Wednesday, and Tomas Nosek, who has 11 points in his last 14 appearances and is looking like a great asset for teams in deep formats.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
