4 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Jose De Leon struggled in a 7-0 loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks on Sunday. De Leon allowed six runs over 4 1/3 innings of work, although he did manage to strike out nine batters. The veteran right-hander has been racking up the strikeouts this season, posting 18 in 9 1/3 innings of work, but he has not been great in the run prevention department, posting a 7.71 ERA. From a fantasy perspective, the high strikeout totals aren't worth the other rough stats from De Leon across the board. With right-hander Sonny Gray expected to return to the field later this week, it will be either Jeff Hoffman or De Leon who is shifted to the bullpen. If De Leon makes another start, it lines up to come against the Cleveland Indians.--Matt T - RotoBaller
