Trent Grisham Goes Deep For Second Straight Day
4 years agoSan Diego Padres outfielder Trent Grisham went 1-for-3 with a walk and solo homer Sunday against the Texas Rangers. Grisham broke a scoreless tie in the fourth frame, taking starter Mike Foltynewicz deep in the eventual 2-0 victory. The 24-year-old missed the first week of the season with a bum hamstring but is making up for lost time, going 5-for-11 with two homers, a double and six runs-plus-RBI since his activation from the IL on Friday. Batting leadoff without a threat to playing time, fantasy managers are hoping Grisham's start is the beginning of a breakout campaign.
