4 years agoArizona Diamondbacks first baseman Christian Walker (oblique) has been placed on the 10-day injured list with a right oblique strain, according to Zach Buchanan of The Athletic. Earlier in the day manager Torey Lovullo said that Walker had exited Sunday's game early due to "normal aches and pains," but it appears Walker was hurt more than the team had originally thought. Asdrubal Cabrera is starting at first Monday night with Walker out, and he could see extended time there in Walker's absence.
