Kris Bryant Continues Strong Start
4 years agoChicago Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant continued his strong start of the season on Monday versus the Milwaukee Brewers. Bryant went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and two runs scored on the evening. The Cubs as a whole have struggled offensively, but Bryant has been performing well in his contract year. The former National League MVP is now hitting .265 with a 1.022 OPS to go along with three home runs and five RBI. Bryant slipped in drafts this season with a rough 2020, but those who gambled on him are seeing it pay off in the early going.
