4 years agoOakland Athletics starting pitcher Chris Bassitt allowed two runs in five innings to earn his first win of the season Monday in Arizona. Bassitt was lucky to escape with only two runs as he had traffic on the base paths all night allowing two hits and five walks. Bassitt has had walk issues in the past allowing almost three BB/9 in 2019 when he pitched 144 innings. Walks combined with his lack of strikeouts (20 percent career K-rate) limits Bassitt's upside in fantasy. He's fine to roll out as a streamer when he has a good matchup so hold on to him for a matchup with the Tigers on Sunday.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
