Justus Sheffield Bounces Back Tuesday
4 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher Justus Sheffield had a strong bounce-back outing in the first half of a double-header Tuesday. Sheffield threw six strong innings, only allowing two runs on three hits and two walks while striking out five. After only throwing 77 pitches, Sheffield had an argument to continue into the seventh inning, but manager Scott Servais opted for Rafael Montero, whose blown save cost Sheffield the win. Sheffield now carries a 4.91 ERA over 11 innings to start the year. He is a solid streaming option for fantasy managers.
