4 years agoTexas Rangers pitcher Kyle Gibson had a second straight solid outing during the club's 8-3 win over the Tampa Bay Rays on Tuesday night. The veteran right-hander allowed two runs (one earned) over seven innings of work. He gave up just four hits and two walks while striking out three batters. Gibson threw 51 of his 86 pitches for strikes (59%). Through three starts this season, the 33-year-old hurler has allowed 14 hits and six walks in 13.1 innings but he has a 2-0 record and 12 strikeouts. His high hit totals and low strikeout rates make him a modest fantasy option moving forward unless he faces a very favorable matchup.--Marc Hulet - RotoBaller
