Willson Contreras Crushes Two-Run Blast
4 years agoChicago Cubs catcher Willson Contreras went 1-for-3 with two runs scored, a hit by pitch and a two-run home run on Tuesday versus the Milwaukee Brewers. Contreras sent a rocket to left field off of Brent Suter in the top of the eighth to give the Cubs a 3-2 lead at the time and that would end up being all the Cubs needed to secure the victory. Contreras remains one of the best catchers in the game and is now hitting .226 with two home runs, five RBI and six runs scored. He should be started in all formats and should see more runs in the number two spot if the Cubs offense can get going.
