4 years agoColorado Rockies right-hander Jhoulys Chacin allowed one run on four hits with two strikeouts and two walks over 2 1/3 innings in a 7-0 shutout loss to the Dodgers. Chacin came on in relief of starter Antonio Senzatela, who was hit hard by the Dodgers to open the game. Chacin did a halfway decent job in relief, only allowing one run via a Max Muncy RBI double in the fourth inning. The 33-year-old now owns a 3.60 ERA, 1.80 WHIP, and 4:3 K/BB ratio over five innings of relief this year. He could join the starting rotation soon enough though with Senzatela and Chi Chi Gonzalez both being unreliable options for Colorado.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller
