4 years agoOakland Athletics relief pitcher Yusmeiro Petit got one out to escape a jam and the offense rewarded him with his league-leading third win of the season. Petit has been a solid arm for a few years in the A's bullpen, but he's not someone to chase in fantasy. Wins are a tough stat to predict and the veteran righty is lucky to have three victories despite just 6 2/3 innings pitched. Petit has pitched to an ERA of three or less in five straight seasons but he's not a strikeout pitcher, 21.5 percent K-rate, and won't get save chances with Lou Trivino and Jake Diekman also in the 'pen.
