4 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Byron Buxton (hamstring) was held out of the lineup for the nightcap Wednesday due to a tight hamstring. Buxton was unable to suit up for either game against the Red Sox in Wednesday's doubleheader, though the team said that he's fine and that he was held out for precautionary reasons. Buxton's fantasy managers will be breathing a sigh of relief if that's true, as the oft-injured speedster has gotten off to a scorching hot start at the plate, perhaps finally delivering on his sky-high potential. It wouldn't be surprising to see the Twins ease Buxton back into action, so stay tuned for updates on his status for Thursday's contest.--Tim Capurso
