4 years agoChicago White Sox second baseman Nick Madrigal went 3-for-4 with singles and one RBI in a victory versus the Cleveland Indians on Wednesday night. Madrigal hit .340 in 29 games as a rookie in 2020, but Wednesday was his first multi-hit game of the season. The second baseman is a pure contact hitter, but doesn't offer much outside of that. Madrigal's strong performance raised his batting average to .278 and he has now hit safely in eight of his 10 starts this season. Managers looking for help with hits and batting average in deeper leagues should consider rostering Madrigal.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
