4 years agoSt. Louis Blues winger Mike Hoffman had a big game with three points Wednesday night against Colorado but couldn't save his team from a 4-3 loss. The 31-year-old scored twice and grabbed a power-play assist on a Vince Dunn goal. Hoffman has now produced back-to-back multi-goal games. The Kitchener, Ontario native somehow survived the trade deadline in St. Louis despite sitting out most of last week as a healthy scratch. He's returned to the lineup with a bang and should feel extremely confident ahead of Saturday's road outing against Arizona.
