4 years agoMinnesota Twins third baseman Josh Donaldson will take a seat on the bench for Thursday's contest against Boston. Donaldson made his return from the injured list in the second game of Wednesday's doubleheader and looked healthy, rapping a single, drawing a walk, and scoring a run. Manager Rocco Baldelli made it clear before the season started that the veteran third baseman would have his workload managed in 2021- and that plan would seem to be even more essential now that he's already spent time on the injured list. Expect Donaldson back for the opening game of the series against the Angels on Friday.--Tim Capurso
