4 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder Charlie Blackmon is out of the lineup for Thursday's game vs. the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Rockies are facing a lefty in Julio Urias but this just looks like a day of rest for the veteran outfielder. Blackmon has struggled to begin the season with a .154/.250/.308 batting line to go along with one home run and five RBI over 39 at-bats. Perhaps a day off will do him some good. Colorado is rolling with Garrett Hampson in center field, Raimel Tapia in left field, and Yonathan Daza on right field. The Rockies have done a poor job creating runs this year and their lineup sans Blackmon and Trevor Story should have a rough night against Urias and company.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller
