Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Raises Batting Average To .413
4 years agoToronto Blue Jays first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. went 3-for-5 during Thursday's 7-5 loss to the Kansas City Royals. He also added a double and a home run. He now has a 1.200 OPS through 13 games and has driven in 10 runs. Guerrero Jr. also boasts a strong BB-K rate of 9-10. Still just 22 years old, the young hitter has a 233 wRC+ in the small sample, which is more than double (112 wRC+) what he had at the end of 2020. Guerrero Jr. is among the Top 3 in almost every offense category (minimum 40 plate appearances) for first basemen so far this season. He's obviously a strong fantasy target in all formats.
