4 years agoLos Angeles Angels catcher Kurt Suzuki is in line to take on the lion's share of the catching duties heading into this weekend's action. With starting catcher Max Stassi (thumb) being placed on the injured list two days ago, the veteran Suzuki is expected to step up to take his place. The results have been positive thus far, going 3-for-4 in his first two starts with one double and one RBI. Suzuki is a capable veteran who can handle the bat but only posted a .396 slugging percentage last season.
