4 years agoNew York Yankees pitcher Michael King was optioned to the team's alternate site following Friday's game, the team announced on Twitter. Pitching behind an opener against the Rays, King tossed three scoreless innings and allowed two hits and three walks while striking out four batters. Friday was King's second appearance of the season, as he now has allowed three hits and four walks while striking out seven in nine scoreless innings of work.
