4 years agoWilliam Byron led a few laps and managed to stay in the top-five at the end of Sunday's finish at Martinsville. His fourth-place finish showed that he could keep pace even on the longer runs that short-track racing can feature. This week, Byron races on the 3/4 mile Richmond Raceway with its 14-degree banking. Richmond has previously not been kind to the Hendrick Motorsports driver as he has finished outside the top ten every time. He only finished on the lead lap twice in five appearances.
