4 years agoCincinnati Reds first baseman Joey Votto went 2-for-4 with a homer, a double, and two RBI in a 10-3 win over the Cleveland Indians on Friday. Votto went deep for a two-run shot off of Cleveland reliever Phil Maton in the third inning. The big game raises Votto's batting average to .208 to go along with three homers, one double, six runs, and eight RBI across 53 at-bats. The veteran infielder has been hitting the ball hard this season but has been running into some bad luck at the plate. Friday's performance is a sign that things may be turning around for Votto, so consider adding him off of waivers in deeper leagues if he's still available.--Matt T - RotoBaller
