4 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Walker Buehler earned a quality start on Friday against the Padres, allowing two runs on seven hits and one walk over six innings. It was Buehler's third quality start of the season, as he is now 1-0 with a 2.00 ERA to open the year. What's concerning for managers though is the low strikeout rate, as he has just 12 strikeouts in 18 innings for a 17.1 percent strikeout rate, which is 11 percent lower than his career strikeout rate. He'll look to improve on his strikeout rate in his next two starts against the Padres and the Reds.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
