4 years agoMinnesota Twins pitcher Randy Dobnak was saddled with his third loss of the season in Friday's defeat at the hands of the Angels. Dobnak entered the game in relief of Lewis Thorpe in the fifth inning and worked an impressive frame, striking out two before unraveling in the sixth and seven innings, surrendering six hits and five earned runs. The 26-year-old had a promising spring, but the results just haven't been there so far in the regular season. Dobnak has pitched to an 11.88 ERA, though an overinflated .375 BABIP and 4.32 SIERA suggest that he has perhaps been unlucky to start the season. There will be better days ahead for Dobnak.--Tim Capurso
