J.P. Crawford Has A Seven-Game Hit Streak
4 years agoSeattle Mariners shortstop J.P. Crawford went 1-for-3 in Friday's game against the Astros, with a walk and two runs scored. Despite having only a .592 OPS for the year, Crawford now has a seven-game hit streak, and has gone 9-for-23 with three walks over his last seven games. He has raised both his average and his on-base percentage 100 points in that span. Crawford isn't going to be a superstar fantasy asset, but he's more than capable of having a hot streak worth riding. Fantasy managers in deep leagues will want to conisder if Crawford is worth making a short-term investment in for the coming scoring period.
