Trevor Williams Improves To 2-1
4 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Trevor Williams picked up his second victory of the season on Saturday versus the Atlanta Braves. Williams went five innings and allowed four hits, one run, three walks and struck out four on the afternoon. Williams bounced back nicely from a poor performance against the Pirates last Sunday, but the walks weren't ideal in this matchup. The right-hander will carry a 2-1 record with a 5.02 ERA and 14 strikeouts with seven walks into next Friday's start versus the Milwaukee Brewers. Williams best use for fantasy managers is as a streamer in favorable matchups for now.
