4 years agoChicago Cubs catcher Willson Contreras had himself a day on Saturday versus the Atlanta Braves. Contreras went 2-for-4 with a pair of solo home runs. Both of his home runs came off of Braves starter Huascar Ynoa. The Cubs offense showed up in a powerful way on Saturday and Contreras was benched with a 13-1 lead in top of the seventh inning. Contreras has been on fire and has now hit four home runs over his last three games. He remains one of the best options behind the plate and is now hitting .282 with five home runs and eight RBI.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
