4 years agoChicago Cubs shortstop Javier Baez went 1-for-5 with a three-run home run versus the Atlanta Braves on Saturday afternoon. Baez has been off to a slow start this season with a .192 batting average, but the power has been there with four home runs and 11 RBI. Baez has proven to be a streaky hitter throughout his career, but can hit with the best of the best when he catches fire. Due to his early power numbers and prior history, managers should remain patient with Baez and hope that a hot streak is coming around the corner.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
