4 years agoChicago White Sox starting pitcher Dylan Cease returned from the COVID-19 injured list on Saturday versus the Boston Red Sox. Cease only last 4 2/3 innings and was taken out of the game after allowing a single to Xander Bogaerts with two outs in the bottom of the fifth inning. Cease allowed six hits, two runs, three walks and struck out six on the evening, but the damage could have been worse if outfielder Adam Eaton didn't rob Rafael Devers of a two-run home run in the bottom of the third inning. Cease has now gone 4 2/3 in all three of his starts and has recorded 15 strikeouts with nine walks. With Cease allowing three walks per game and not going deep in contests, he is hard to trust in redraft leagues at the moment. Cease will carry a 3.86 ERA into his next start versus the Texas Rangers on Friday.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
