4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Bryce Harper (back) is being considered day-to-day with back tightness, according to MLB.com's Todd Zolecki. Harper woke up with a sore back on Saturday, and was held out of the lineup as a result. Manager Joe Girardi said that Harper is day-to-day, but he could return to the lineup as soon as Sunday. Harper has gotten off to a solid start this year, slashing .238/.396/.429 with two home runs, six RBI and a 12:10 K:BB ratio in 13 games. This likely shouldn't be a long term issue for Harper, so managers can expect him back within the next day or two.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
