Third Twins Player Tests Positive For COVID-19
4 years agoA third Minnesota Twins player has tested positive for COVID-19, joining the previously announced positive tests of Andrelton Simmons and Kyle Garlick, as well as a Twins staff member, according to Jeff Passan of ESPN. That's four positive tests this week for Minnesota, as they were forced to postpone Saturday night's game to conduct more testing and contact tracing. Manager Rocco Baldelli said that Sunday's scheduled finale with the Angels is "up in the air" as a result of the current tests. Managers should make preparations for their lineup in the increasingly likely event that Sunday's game is postponed as well.
