4 years agoToronto Blue Jays third baseman Cavan Biggio (hand) is not in Sunday's lineup for the series finale against the Royals. Second baseman/outfielder Lourdes Gurriel Jr. is also not in the lineup. Biggio suffered the injury during Thursday's game and is considered day-to-day, though Sunday's day off coupled with the scheduled off-day on Monday should have the infielder feeling ready to suit up on Tuesday against the Red Sox. Gurriel appeared in both games of Saturday's doubleheader and is getting a routine day off. He's slowly starting to heat up at the plate after a slow start. Joe Panik will get the start at third base while Josh Palacios starting in left field.--Tim Capurso
