4 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Marcus Stroman went eight impressive innings in Colorado on Sunday in the Mets' 2-1 win over the Rockies. Stroman allowed only three hits, one walk, and one earned run while striking out five. Stroman, now 3-0 on the season, owns just a 0.90 ERA and a 0.65 WHIP, to go with 11 strikeouts in 20 innings pitched in 2021. Just as impressively, Stroman has allowed no more than two earned runs in his last seven starts going back to 2019. Stroman will look to continue his hot start to the season in his next start which is scheduled for Saturday at home against the Nationals.
