Struggles Continue For Francisco Lindor On Sunday
4 years agoNew York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor went 0-for-4 with one strikeout in the Mets' 2-1 win over the Rockies on Sunday. Lindor's average has now dropped to .189 on the season and he has yet to hit a home run (over 37 at-bats). After a great spring training in which Lindor hit .370 with four home runs and 14 RBI, Lindor's bat has massively cooled off since the regular season began. Despite the frigid start, fantasy managers should keep in mind the Mets have only played 11 games over the first two weeks of the season, with a number of games postponed due to COVID-19 and inclement weather. As such, the inconsistent Mets schedule has likely played a part in Lindor's inability to get into a groove at the plate. It should only be a matter of time before Lindor gets going at the dish and starts to produce offensively for the Mets and fantasy managers.
