4 years agoHouston Astros third baseman Aledmys Diaz went 1-for-4 with an RBI-double in the Astros 7-2 loss to the Mariners. The versatile Diaz has seen a steady amount of at-bats with star third baseman Alex Bregman currently in health and safety protocols. Diaz has responded with hits in each of his last three starts with three runs batted in during that span. Diaz can provide some solid pop off the bench when given the opportunity but his role could be trimmed once Bregman and teammate Jose Altuve return to the lineup in the coming days.--Joey C - RotoBaller
