4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies relief pitcher Jose Alvarado, starting pitcher Matt Moore and infielder Ronald Torreyes have all been placed on the COVID-19 injured list prior to Monday's contest versus the San Francisco Giants. Alvarado is the biggest name on the list and has recorded a 1.59 ERA with a K/9 of 15.88. He is a name to monitor for managers seeking ratio categories and would likely be the next man up if Hector Neris were to struggle as the closer. Moore has struggled in three starts this season and owns an ugly 9.82 ERA in three starts. Pitchers Damon Jones, Cristopher Sanchez and infielder Nick Maton have replaced Alvarado, Moore and Torreyes on the active roster and all three can be left on the waiver wire.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
