4 years agoSan Francisco Giants catcher/first baseman Buster Posey (elbow) will miss his second straight game on Monday versus the Philadelphia Phillies. Posey left Saturday's contest early with a left elbow contusion. The injury doesn't seem serious and Posey could be available off of the bench. Backup catcher Curt Casali will bat eighth and get his second start in row on Monday versus Chase Anderson. Casali is 1-for-17 on the year and can be avoided in all formats on Monday. Posey is hitting .265 with two home runs and two RBI and is worth a look in deeper leagues for those seeking help behind the plate.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
