4 years agoJon Heyman of MLB Network reports that free agent starting pitcher Cole Hamels continues to work out but does not have a showcase for teams scheduled yet. The veteran lefty only made one start for the Atlanta Braves this past season with shoulder and triceps injuries. Hamels owns a career 3.43 ERA in 15 big league seasons and could be helpful to teams seeking a veteran starter. From a fantasy standpoint, Hamels can be added to the watch list, but doesn't need to be considered at the moment for a roster spot.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
