Chase Anderson Lasts Four Innings Versus Giants
4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies starting pitcher Chase Anderson allowed two runs in four innings while taking the loss Monday versus the Giants. Anderson allowed five hits and didn't walk a batter while whiffing five on the evening. The 33-year-old journeyman is a solid back of the rotation arm for the Phillies, but there's not a lot to get excited about from a fantasy perspective. Anderson hasn't pitched past the fifth inning in any of his three starts this season and sports just a 20.3 percent strikeout rate and a 4.51 xFIP for his career. Toss in a daunting matchup in Coors Field for his next start and Anderson can safely be left on waivers in most fantasy leagues.
