4 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder/first baseman Brent Rooker (neck) was activated from the 10-day injured list on Tuesday. Rooker's return comes at a good time for the Twins, as they will be without outfielders Max Kepler (COVID-19) and Kyle Garlick (COVID-19) for at least the remainder of the week. The 26-year-old has been a bit disappointing at the dish so far, though there should be no shortage of at-bats available in the Twins' outfield moving forward. It's worth noting that the team could opt to call up prospect Alex Kirilloff following their West Coast road trip, which would cut into Rooker's playing time a bit.--Tim Capurso
