Marco Gonzales Outstanding in Losing Effort
4 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher Marco Gonzales took the loss on Tuesday against the Los Angeles Dodgers, but he was outstanding in the process. Gonzales threw seven innings and allowed one run on only two hits and a walk. He struck out six. Gonzales certainly deserved a win for his efforts, but unfortunately Seattle was not able to back him up with any offense. Fantasy managers who have been patient with Gonzales will be relieved to see this excellent outing from Gonzales after a difficult start to the year. Gonzales can be considered an excellent matchup play for the time being, and deserves to be on rosters.
