4 years agoChicago White Sox starting pitcher Carlos Rodon followed up his no hitter with a victory versus the Cleveland Indians on Tuesday. Despite the victory, Rodon was rocky for most of the evening. The veteran lefty went five innings and allowed three hits, two runs (one earned), five walks and registered eighth strikeouts. The walks were the big issue in this one and that's what caused manager Tony La Russa to pull the plug on Rodon. The lefty has looked healthy this season and has been one of the top waiver wire pickups in the early going. The veteran is now 3-0 with a 0.47 ERA. He has also recorded 24 strikeouts and walked eight on the year. Rodon will look to keep his strong season going versus and is scheduled to start on Monday versus the Detroit Tigers in a favorable matchup.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
