4 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Jake Arrieta put together another nice start on Tuesday versus the New York Mets. Arrieta went five innings and allowed three hits, one run, three walks and four strikeouts one the evening. The veteran has looked good in his second tour with the Cubs and is now 3-1 with a 2.18 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and 18 strikeouts in 22 innings. The former All-Star should generate interest for those seeking pitcher help in deeper leagues. Arrieta will look to continue his strong start to the season with a matchup against the Milwaukee Brewers on Sunday. Arrieta gave up three runs versus the Brewers on April.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
