Luis Castillo Allows Three Runs; Game Suspended Until Wednesday
4 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Luis Castillo struggled to get through four innings in a Tuesday start against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Castillo allowed three runs (one earned), walked three, and struck out four in the outing. His inefficiency did him in as he threw 89 pitches with just 52 going for strikes. The game itself had to be suspended in the eighth inning due to inclement weather and will resume at 5:10 PM EST (2:10 local time in Arizona), right before the regularly scheduled game which is set to begin at 6:40 PM EST. Castillo will take a 6.05 ERA into his next start, which will come against the St. Louis Cardinals.
