4 years agoSan Francisco Giants closer Jake McGee returned from the injured list Tuesday after recovering from COVID-19 vaccine reactions to pitch in Tuesday's 10-7 win over the Phillies. McGee entered to pitch the ninth inning up by four runs and allowed one run on a solo home run to Rhys Hoskins. He walked none and struck out Bryce Harper to end the game. While the result wasn't great, the important thing is that McGee is healthy and can return to closing games out for the Giants. With six saves, a 2.89 ERA, and a 28.9% strikeout rate, McGee is looking like a higher-end fantasy closer.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
