4 years agoMinnesota Twins designated hitter Nelson Cruz (foot) is good to go for Wednesday's game against the Athletics. Cruz was hit by a pitch on his foot in the second game of Tuesday's doubleheader, though he appears to have shaken off the issue quickly and will slot into his usual spot as the number-three hitter in the Minnesota order. The 40-year-old slugger is slashing .348/.396/.652 with four long balls and 19 combined runs and RBI through his first 15 games.--Tim Capurso
