4 years agoSan Francisco Giants second baseman Donovan Solano (calf) is expected to be placed on the injured list. Solano strained his right calf while running from second to third base during the sixth inning of Wednesday's game. The 2020 Silver Slugger award winner will be forced to miss time, presumably the 10-day injured list, meaning second base will be open for at-bats in San Francisco. Tommy La Stella, Wilmer Flores, and Mauricio Dubon are all candidates to see some time at the keystone in the absence of Solano.--Tim Capurso
