4 years agoChicago Cubs second baseman David Bote went 2-for-4 with a run scored and four RBI in Wednesday's victory against the New York Mets. Bote was scratched from Tuesday's game with an upset stomach, but came up big in his return Wednesday. Bote is now hitting .205 with two home runs and 10 RBI. Bote has been platooning with Eric Sogard at second base and the Cubs also have second base prospect Nico Hoerner that could be called up in the near future.
