Matt Duffy Has Big Night
4 years agoChicago Cubs infielder Matt Duffy went 3-for-4 with two runs, three RBI and a walk in Wednesday's victory against the New York Mets. Duffy got a rare start with lefty David Peterson on the mound and manager David Ross electing to load the lineup with right-handed hitters. Despite the nice night, Duffy has only made two starts this season and doesn't have enough playing time to provide anything of use to managers. He should remain on the waiver wire in all formats.
